Elevator Pitch No. 3
1) The pitch.

2) A reflection on the feedback you received from your last pitch.
I was glad to hear mostly positive feedback because I find it hard to present something in front of a crowd, even if it was a recording. The feedback that stood out to me as important was based on my delivery, I was told that I could be a little more confident in my delivery because it seem as though I was stuttering and stumbling on my words. I do agree with that feedback because when I get nervous I do tend to stutter, making it hard to express what I really want to say.
3) What did you change, based on the feedback?
I made sure to almost memorize my pitch but also make it more personal because I do not want to seem like a robot. I wanted to sound natural and enthusiastic about my idea so that my listeners would be as engaged as I am on the topic. I was probably a little shaky and seem unprepared in my last pitch so I wanted to make sure that that was one of the first things that I fix in this pitch.
Hi Mia,
ReplyDeleteYour pitch did seem natural, and it was also great that you were enthusiastic about the topic. It showed that you knew what you were speaking on, and that the audience should show interest. Your professional attire also showed that you were taking the pitch seriously, and you were engaging during the pitch instead of being seated throughout.
Hi Mia,
ReplyDeleteAs someone who stutters and is a little uncomfortable publicly speaking too, I think you did a really great job this time! But, practice makes perfect as Dr. Pryor says. You seemed very driven and ready to share your product when I watched your speech. Overall, I believe you did an amazing job with your third elevator pitch! Nice Job!
